Cancellations & Refund Policy
CANCELLATIONS & REFUND POLICY
We have an extremely simple and very liberal Cancellation & Refund Policy. With the exception of “No Shows,” we will provide you with a FULL REFUND, if you wish to cancel in advance, for any reason whatsoever, any scheduled class or other service. There is no need for you to explain why you wish to cancel. When cancelling a class or other service, we simply ask you kindly give us an advanced courtesy call (the sooner the better) so we may offer your scheduled day to someone else or group who may be waiting for a spot. At least a three (3) day advance notice would be greatly appreciated! Just give us a call ahead of time is all we kindly ask.
“No Shows” – A person(s) whom fails to appear and/or fails to cancel in advance, their scheduled class or service. A Partial Refund(s) for “No Shows” will automatically be processed. A 30% “No Show” fee will be deducted from the purchase amount. “No Shows” WILL NOT be offered a reschedule date.
Captain’s Cancellations:
The Captain may cancel any scheduled class or other service if he deems for any reason, any situation is or may potentially become hazardous. Captain’s Cancellations may occur prior to, or during any class, or any other service, at any time. Clients will be notified of Captain’s Cancellations as soon as practical. We do not “bump” or “shuffle” other scheduled classes or services to accommodate any cancellations. We will only facilitate a rescheduling to an available date of your liking, or provide you a full or partial refund. The Captain WILL cancel all services when NOAA’s, National Weather Service (NWS) predictions reach or exceed 50% chance of thunderstorms occurring during our class time.
For the safety of all clients, others, the Captain, or the boat, the Captain may for any reason, at any time, not allow or terminate any client’s participation in the “Skipper” or hands-on portion of any class, or participation in any class or other service. The Captain’s decision to do so may be based upon, but not limited to, the following: Client is suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs, client fails or refuses to follow instructions, client has any impairment, physical or otherwise, which may preclude him/her from safely operating the boat and/or safely participate in any class or other service.
Any cancellation by Orange Troller LLC is considered a Captain’s Cancellation.
Cancellations – Pre-Class and Pre-Service:
It is important you provide us with accurate contact information when scheduling any class or service so that we may contact you in the event of a Captain’s Cancellation. With the exception of “No Shows,” any cancellation made prior to receiving any service will facilitate a rescheduling to an available date of your liking, or provide you a full refund.
Cancellations – Partial Refunds:
Any cancellation which occurs during a Class or Lesson may be subject to partial refunds or full rescheduling. Partial refunds will be calculated on the amount of service you received at 15 minute increments. For example, if you received an hour and a half (1.5 hours) of lesson during a three (3) hour scheduled class, which was cancelled by client or the Captain, client will be eligible for a 50% refund, or as per Captain’s discretion, you may be afforded the opportunity to reschedule for another full class at no extra cost. If cancelled under the first 15 minutes, you will be offered a full refund or you may reschedule for another full class at no extra cost. However, any Class or Lesson cancelled within 30 min of completion will be considered services rendered and completed.
We WILL NOT be responsible for any extraneous client expense(s) due to any cancellation. Examples: Client expenses for transportation, travel, lodging, meals, or any other expenses beyond the purchase price of our services, WILL NOT be reimbursed.
